My name is Sofia Avital, and I am originally from the beautiful province of Quirino, Philippines. I have been living in Israel for more than 20 years, giving me a deep appreciation of the country’s people, culture, history, and traditions.

My strong connection to the Holy Land through my Christian faith, combined with my frequent visits to its sacred sites and my interactions with pilgrims and tourists from around the world, inspired me to pursue a career as a tour guide. I wanted to help others experience the places where biblical history unfolded and where the stories of Scripture come to life.

To achieve this goal, I enrolled in the Tour Guide Course at the Tel Aviv School of Tourism and successfully passed the Israeli Tour Guide Licensure Examination in 2021.

After becoming a licensed tour guide, I faced an important decision: whether to join a prominent tour company or work independently. I chose to become an independent tour guide because I wanted to serve more Filipinos who dream of visiting the Holy Land. This allows me to provide personalized service and create meaningful experiences tailored to the needs and interests of my fellow kababayans.

It is my mission to help Filipinos discover the beauty, history, and spiritual significance of Israel. I offer customized tour itineraries designed around the destinations that many Filipino pilgrims and travelers wish to visit. I communicate comfortably in Filipino, Taglish, Ilocano, English, and Hebrew, making it easy for guests from different backgrounds to feel at home throughout the journey.

Behind every tour is careful preparation. I have spent countless hours planning itineraries, coordinating with transportation providers, studying routes, checking site schedules, understanding local customs and religious traditions, and learning the practical details necessary to ensure a smooth, safe, and enjoyable travel experience.

I welcome travelers of all ages and backgrounds, including seniors and guests with manageable mobility challenges. My goal is to make every tour comfortable, meaningful, and memorable.
